FURY
FURY is based off a poem I wrote some time ago exploring the dichotomy of female rage and fortitude. It follows a woman as she rages, lost in the storm of her own mind. Her frustration moves in on her like a quickly advancing tide and her anger crashes like waves—wild, consuming, and defiant—until exhaustion pulls her under. When she resurfaces, the world is unchanged: a bright, busy beach, indifferent to her turmoil. But when she lifts a shell to her ear, expecting the ocean’s whisper, she is met with the echo of her own screams. A meditation on anger, isolation, and the quiet, lingering aftermath of emotional upheaval, this film explores the strange clarity that follows a manic outburst—and the inner chaos we can never quite escape.
